How to Set Up a Manual Proxy.

I know not many of us know how to set up a manual proxy, so here's a guide to learn how to set it up.

Step 1. Firstly, you've got to log in to Stardoll so you don't have to do it with another proxy.

Step 2. This might be the hard part, but don't worry, we'll help.

Setting up the proxy. Now all of us have different types of internet for different types of computer.

Follow intsuctions to complete setting a manual proxy for your type of computer and internet.

For Internet Explorer (Normal type): Go to: Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings --> Tick or check the box where it says 'Use Proxy' --> Enter the proxy numbers for example: 77.88. and so on --> Enter the port number example: Port 8000 and so on --> Click OK --> Then Click OK again. Finished! Your manual proxy should be set.

For Safari (Mac Computers): Check the web proxy HTTP -->  Click 'Safari' on the top bar --> Preferences --> Advanced --> Change Settings --> Check the web proxy HTTP --> Enter the proxy and port numbers --> Apply Now. Voila!

For Firefox: Tools --> Options --> Advanced --> Network --> Settings --> Check or tick the Manual box --> Enter the proxy and port numbers --> Click Save.

*Note*By the way, some of the words in the picture (Not in your computer of course) are dutch, so 'Extra' means 'Tools'.

For Google Chrome: Click on the tiny wrench Icon (Icon under Window Close) --> Options --> 'Under the hood' --> Go down and click 'Change proxy settings' (under 'Network Settings') --> In the popup dialog, click the Connections Tab --> LAN Settings --> Check or tick the box where it says 'Use a Proxy Server' --> Advanced --> Enter the proxy and port numbers --> Click OK.

Step 3. Now that you've set your proxy server, go to the page or link to get that free item. For example, 'a club'.

Step 4. When your done, go back to the settings and untick the box where it says 'Use a proxy server' like that. Always remember to do it!
